Money Saver 1: YARN SALE starts

For the Love of Yarn - it's Valentines Day!

Starting Friday, February 12 at 9:30 sharp, we'll have our traditional Spring Yarn Blowout till Saturday February 20. As always: quality yarns, which we learnt have been discontinued, and yarns which we feel don't fit in our spectrum anymore have to go to make room for new shipments.

 50 - 70% OFF!

Salesign

This year, for the first time, we won't have a detailed list of sale yarns (yet), as it is a "sale in progress" with additional yarns put out every day. Check our news page during the weekend for announcements and a sale list to come, or just phone us toll free at 1-888-588-7834 - If you cannot come in in person.

Money Saver 2: Maggie's Workshop!

We had to reduce the prices for the workshop classes with Maggie Jackson for a practical reason: just to pull even with another yarn store offering the same classes. This very unique weekend is now $150 only and there are only some spots left!

MaggieKid

This workshop with internationally renowned designer Maggie Jackson runs on the weekend March 26th till 28th with a fashion show and two workshops on creative knitting in our store. We arranged for very affordable accommodation for those travelling to our beautiful part of the world for this event.

Read updated details here and sign up at 250-287-8898 or toll-free at 1-888-588-7834 or info@needlenart.com. Better sign up now!

Yarn of the Month - 20% OFF

Until February 28 only: BUTTERFLY!

Money Saver 3: This Butterfly Super 10 mercerized cotton has been our first yarn when we started our yarn department and has been a bestseller ever since. Here is the shade card.

Butterfly

Super 10 Cotton is a beautiful 100% mercerized cotton that comes in stunning colors. A proven, high performing cotton, it doesn't split while you knit, and even after several machine washes, it won't shrink or pill. And Super 10 Cotton is adaptable to any of your DK/Worsted Weight patterns.

The 20% discount applies to purchases in our store or online orders till latest January 31. Several discounts cannot be added, the higher discount applies.

Money Saver 4: Freebee of the Month

Sorry, no free pattern(s) of the month this time, but always check the patterns in our free pattern page.

Here is something different: For all mail orders we offer
FREE SHIPPING
to USA and Canada on all orders of $30 or more, starting February 12 and ending March 31, 2010.

This special is even applicable on top of other discounts (20% off for yarn of the month or 10% off for the first order after signing up for our newsletter).

Last but not least

Our Knitting and Crocheting for Chemo patients is in it's second phase.

Thanks to local donations to this cause we have no lack of yarn for Charity Knitting. At least 50 new chemo caps have been brought in already and we start with Comfort Shawls (or Prayer Shawls) now, because we heard that chemo patients need warmth and cancer wards can be pretty chilly.

In addition to our collection of free hat patterns, Alison now put together a collection of free comfort shawl patterns. If you want to partake in our project and want the patterns or some yarn to be sent to you, please contact Jurgen at info@needlenart.com.  Follow the project's progress here.

Once you are into this charity project, think upbeat thoughts. Pass on your positive wishes along with each stitch to someone who needs them - and it will be good for you too!
