April Point Resort
Next Newsletter is coming soon!
Knit in the Park Saturday August 11
Dear customers and friends,

You are right, our next "real" newsletter is overdue. Not only has our busy summer season started here, but we also had some special events to handle, such as the arrival of the first Cruise Ships and the move of our home.

Many, many announcements and new products are in the pipeline! I try to keep our web site updated, though, so visit our new yarn pages and browse through the other department pages often!

New yarns are arriving all the time. Stay tuned by checking our What's New yarn page.

Now, this special newsletter has to swiftly go out to remind you that our successful National "Knit in the Park" is coming up in a couple of days!

See you soon!

Where: Robert Ostler Park (formerly Foreshore Park), Downtown Campbell River, on the Waterfront, just across from our Needle & Arts Centre.

Who: all Knitters and Crocheters and all those who want to learn it!

What are we doing: Knit a row or two on our "Group Afghan" or help to knit SOCKS for Women & Children, all to be donated to our local Women's Centre.
We will have different FREE Sock patterns to chose from.

Do you want to join us and don't knit or crochet yet? Get a free knitting lesson in the park.
What to do with unfinished projects? Finish them at home or later in our store and drop them off there! We then pass them on to the Women's Centre.

What's FREE and what to bring: All yarn and the needles for the event are supplied by the Needle & Arts Centre. Bring your own yarn or needles if you have.
You may bring your own folding chair or blanket. We provide chairs, tables, tents, Iced Tea and Water as refreshments.

Have a good chat and chuckle - and enjoy the beautiful waterfront view!
