We hope you had a good start of the year!
So many things are happening here that it's hard to communicate.
We don't want to fill your Inbox with too many newsletters.
Instead, we permanently update our
web site, especially the
Knitting & Crochet News page. Plus, as we think it
fits, we add news and facts to our
yarn blog on a regular base.
So, when we ask you to check our web site and blog often, who is
really doing this, except he or she is looking for something
specific? Here is a solution: You may subscribe to our
Blog Feed.
When you subscribe to a feed, Internet Explorer automatically
checks the website and downloads new content so you can see
what is new since you last visited the feed. You may also be
notified about new content. Here is
how it looks!
Now, here come some brief Store Highlights for
you. Don't miss our huge Sale (see below).
Enjoy!

Just some brief finishing comments for
today's newsletter:
- All our new yarns come with exciting pattern ideas.
It's impossible to post them all in our web site or blog. If
you find a yarn interesting and want to see patterns for it,
just phone us toll free (below) or email us at
info@needlenart.com and we'll get this information to you!
- With Nashua and Berroco
yarns already well represented (see the
list of new yarns), we will soon carry
Rowan yarns as well.
- There is a trend that large suppliers are expanding their
lines into lower cost yarns. Check for
example Kertzer's
Northern Worsted for $5.25/100g (it beats Patons
Decor in price and quality!) and Berroco's new
Comfort DK Baby yarn for just $3.25/50g!
- Watch the other trend: more ECO yarns are
coming in, in addition to those which we already carry, for
example Nashua's Natural Focus yarns
Ecologie Cotton and
Ecologie Wool. We will issue another special
report soon.
- We started knitting groups in our store for
customers nearby. The "Knit'n Bitch" night group meets
every last Friday of the month from
7-9 pm. Sorry, we start with an exception: February's meeting
will be on Friday Feb. 22nd!
There is already enough interest to start another group
every second Thursday of the
month, the first will be Thursday Feb 14 from 2 - 4 pm. It's
Valentine's Day, come treat yourself!
For both groups: there is no charge involved.
Tea (and coffe if you like) is free. Something to nibble is
always welcome. All participants get a special Knitting Group
discount of 15% on yarn and notions during
the meetings!
Cheers, Happy Valentine's and
