What's in a Brand Name?
Paisley ROWANWe added a number of ROWAN yarns to our ever growing selection, see the yarn links in the left column. ROWAN comes with a reputation of quality yarns and top designs, and you will now find excellent ROWAN books in our books selection. We also carry perfectly complementing lines from Berroco, Skacel, Nashua, Estelle, Kertzer, Regia, Naturally, to name a few, and we are proud to be the largest retailer of Garnstudio yarns. Other new brands in store are Shepherd and Cascade. Check all new yarns in the left column or in our News Page! Read more in our Yarn Blog.

Socks, Socks, and much more...
 Regia Pompon
There must be a reason why sock yarns are so well suited for babywear, kidswear and comfy garments as well as for your toes.

More than one reason: they are mashine washable and most of them are unbelievably soft. Just take Softy, Arequipa, Silk Color or Regia Pompon as a few examples. Some contain Alpaca, Silk or Bambou. On Your Toes comes with Aloe Vera for smooth knitting. Check all new sock yarns in the left column or in our News Page! Read more in our Yarn Blog.

The ECO Summer Trend
Hopefully not only for one Summer, the newest trend is ecological yarns. Check our ECO yarns in the left column or in our News Page! Read more in our Yarn Blog.

Just take ROWAN's purelife Organic Cotton: it is from cotton grown in India without pesticides and chemical fertilizers; naturally dyed in Italy with organic plant dyes. This yarn is fully traceable through batch number to certified farms in India, and fair prices are paid to farmers. Consequently, the ECO yarns come in paper bags or bio degradable plastic bags.

Think clean - knit green!

Affordable Yarns - Something missing?
ComfortDK
When we talk about our quality yarns and mention exclusive names such as Berroco and ROWAN, this doesn't mean that we are targeting the high price niche.

On the contrary! We try to find highly affordable yarns for you. We are having Patons in our program, but you will not find Patons Decor and Patons Classic Merino. We substituded these lines with yarns of lower price and more consistent quality, and we stock a huge number of shades. Check out Northern Worsted for $4.75/100g and Shepherd Classic 100% Wool for $6.95/100g.

Get this: Berroco offers a soft baby yarn in beautiful shades: Comfort DK for $3.25/50g only!

Now, Thank you for your time, interest and patronage, and for all your warm comments!

If you are interested in our local Knit'n Bitch Group dates, please phone 250-287-8898.
And, for all remote customers and friends: we do knitting and crochet consulting via phone and Internet - and we ship to any destination!
