The acrylic used on Lava blend, is an excellent reproduction of the wool fiber but less wooly, useful all year around and suitable for all kind of garments and accessories.

We recommend knitting this yarn very lofty in order to get light garments and the best relation between weight and yardage; besides the reasonable price point by hank it is 20% less heavy than a 100%wool yarn options for the same garment.
