DROPS Merino Extra Fine is made from Extrafine, 19.5 micron, superwash treated merino, which puts it above the standard quality.
This is a cable spun yarn with very special knitting and user characteristics. Good roundness and elasticity give the stitches an even, well-defined look. Perfect with garments with fine, textured patterns such as cables.
DROPS Merino Extra Fine is spun of the finest and softest merino wool. The cable spin makes the stitches very clear and well defined, and it is very easy to achieve an even surface and even stitch look. DROPS Merino Extra Fine is very suitable for knitted garments with fine textures like cables, moss stitch etc. It is superwash treated to stay nice after washing and can therefore be used as an everyday garment. Roundness, good volume, elasticity and a beautiful surface finish are some of the distinguishing features. Thanks to this the yarn is also great for baby and children knitwear.

DROPS Merino Extra Fine belongs can be used on all patterns for Angora-Tweed, Classic Alpaca, Muskat, Lin, Karisma and Muskat Soft.

Merino Extra Fine is dk weight, so will knit up to a lot of regular baby and children's patterns. The price is really good too, given that it's both Merino wool, and superwash.
