Everyway Shawl

The Everyway Shawl (formerly Om Shawl) by Andrea Mowry is a quick, fun and inspiring knit. It requires 19 buttons.

As the designer states: The Shawl can be worn in a myriad of ways to mirror all of the different facets of your personality, the changing seasons, and the different parts of your day! Drape it around your back and over your arms as a cozy stole, button up the top sides and pull it over your head as a poncho, button half of the side buttons and wrap it twice around your neck like a cowl letting the corners drape down like a triangle shawl. Lay it over your lap for some extra warmth on a cool morning as you sip tea. Button all of the side buttons and use it as a nursing cowl. The options are endless! This worsted weight version of my most popular pattern - the Yoga Shawl - knits up quick, and is a fun and inspiring knit with the changing colors and textures!

We curated this pattern with DROPS Nepal, a lovely, chunky and luxurious yarn spun in 35% superfine alpaca and 65% Peruvian Highland wool, a mix that accentuates the softness of alpaca while the wool contributes to the garments’ shape stability. Both fibers are untreated, which means that they are only washed and not exposed to any chemical treatment prior to the dyeing. This highlights the fibers’ natural properties, providing also a better shape and texture qualities.

Spun from 3 strands, which gives an exciting and rustic stitch definition, DROPS Nepal is an easily knitted/crocheted quality which is also ideal for felting, resulting in garments that have an even and soft surface.

We recommend DROPS Nepal, the perfect every day yarn. Purchase the pattern from Ravelry.com.

We chose the following shades for this pattern. You need 14 balls of DROPS Nepal (8+2+2+2) at 100 g. Pick 1: DROPS Nepal 0206 (MC) + 8909 + 7120 + 612; Pick 2: DROPS Nepal 0517 (MC) + 0506 + 0501 + 3620. Feel free to make your own choice.
