Teroldego Shawl

Teroldego is a pattern by Caitlin Hunter. Teroldego is an asymmetrical triangle shawl featuring lace, colorwork, bobbles and stripes. The edges have a narrow garter edge, which allows for a slightly unfinished, rolling finish inspired by runway trends. It is a perfect, oversized yet lightweight wrap for throwing over a breezy summer dress at a wine tasting, a stroll on the beach or a dinner on the veranda.

You wonder where the name comes from: This shawl is named after the wonderful Teroldego wine the designer sampled at Montinore Estate at the release party for this design.

The project is paired with Manos del Urugay’s Fino. Elegant and refined, Fino combines the softness of merino wool with the lustre of silk in a lightweight yarn that’s perfect for heirloom accessories or luxurious garments. Its contents are 70% extrafine merino wool, 30% silk.
Fino features a new dye process that yields complex, subtle, tonal colors.

You would need 3 skeins of Manos del Uruguay Fino at 100 g of your choice from the shade of your choice for this project. Make your colour choice HERE. Purchase the pattern from Ravelry.com.
