Small Business Saturday on November 24

In a nutshell, Small Business Saturday is a celebration of small businesses and a thank you to all of you who support us.

Our "Small Business Saturday" is an event developed by a collaboration of 19 family owned small businesses in the downtown core of Campbell River. Up to now, large box stores had their day on Black Friday and internet companies had their day on Cyber Monday. But nowhere was there a day to let small, independent retailers have their voice. So, "Small Business Saturday" was born out of this void.

For many yarn shops it's tough to compete with Black Friday deals. Yarn shops are the backbone of this industry and supporting your LYS (Local Yarn Shop) is the best way to ensure that our craft thrives throughout generations. LYS owners and employees work very hard to offer you the best selection of yarns, classes, and the friendliest service possible. To ensure these small businesses continue to serve your community it's important to support local.

As a show of appreciation to our customers, we will be having a very exciting promotion on the 24th, one that you will appreciate during these early days of Christmas shopping:

  • 20% OFF on everything in our online shop for online orders, from yarn to needle sets, to books or accessories. Browse the online shop! You can even get these additional 20% off the already reduced Clearance Yarns!

  • In our store, this Saturday it is Buy one and get one 50% OFF of equal or lesser value. We help you to get the most out of it!

Local customers: you may also order online if you cannot make it to the store, by tagging "in-store pick-up" at check-out.
